Lazio

Map of Lazio

Lazio (Latium in Latin) is the region of the Etruscans - founders of Rome and Viterbo. Outside of Rome, the region’s rural economy is dominated by agriculture, including cultivation of wine grapes, fruit, vegetables and olives—-for lively olive oils.

This lovely olive oil comes from the Pelliccia family estate in Itri, along the Appian Way. This exquisite Single Estate olive oil is a monocultivar, pressed solely from 100% Itrana olives. Limited reserve, November Harvest.

Muraccio is cold pressed and its color is a beautiful green with gold tinge. The aroma is intensely fruity. A lovely and flavorful selection.

From the noted lands of the Etrucans, we bring Colli Etruschi, a bold yet fruity extra virgin olive oil. This oil is well regarded and notable for recognition from Slow Food.
