Lazio

Map of Lazio

Lazio (Latium in Latin) is the region of the Etruscans - founders of Rome and Viterbo. Outside of Rome, the region’s rural economy is dominated by agriculture, including cultivation of wine grapes, fruit, vegetables and olives—-for lively olive oils.

From the Sabine Hills north of Rome, comes Olivarte Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Unique among our collection, Olivarte is a blend of Leccino, Frantoio, and Carboncello olives. Tasting notes are in the full description.

Medium fruity, well balanced. Perfect! This olive oil comes from the Pelliccia family estate in Itri, along the Appian Way. Limited reserve, November Harvest. This exquisite Single Estate olive oil is a monocultivar of 100% Itrana olives.
