Recognized as a Finalist, Olio Capitale 2013, Intensely Fruity. The estate has been recognized by Slow Food 2013. Flos Olei 2014.
The oils from Fattoria di Monti are a real discovery! Razzo is dense and clear, with yellow and green highlights. It possesses a fruity scent of green olives, and it is noted to be medio-intenso, with elements of artichoke, and hints of almond and hazelnut, with a small note of black pepper in the finish. Enjoy with traditional Tuscan dishes, salads and legumes, and over meat and fish. Unusual, hard-to-find Razzo monocultivar.
From land that once was the home of a Medici family farm, and the 22 acres of olive groves date to that time. The Mediterranean breeze reaches the well-spaced olive trees through the gentle hills and open valleys, providing perfect conditions for splendid oil, with each olive varietal harvested at the optimum time.
We adore the tube packaging which nicely serves to protect and set this unique oil apart from others.
Recommended with legumes, vegetables, and read meats. An outstanding olive oil, perfect for the Mediterranean diet.
