Each year at the holidays, our olive oil fans ask for a few extra goodies from Italy. This year we are offering Antico Forni Santi Cantucci. These Cantucci are similar to biscotti, but are softer as they are baked once (rather than twice for biscotti). We have the selections with Chocolate and Apricots.
Baker Leonardo Santi has been preparing traditional Tuscan cookies for almost 40 years. After getting his start in 1964, he eventually opened Antico Forno Santi in 1970 in Prato, near Florence. The passion and creativity for authentic ingredients is still seen today in Antico Forno Santi's delicious cookies.
Cantucci with Chocolate:
Similar to biscotti but not twice-baked and therefore, softer. These traditional cookies are made with eggs, sugar, flour, chunks of dark chocolate, and vanilla. This traditional sweet is generally served with Tuscan Vin Santo. 200 gr.
