Our friends in Italy do marvelous things with vegetables. Take this artichoke pate. Finely chopped and pureed, it is a wonderful spread. Best for appetizers and small bites, serve with burrata, buffalo ricotta cheese, and on bites of crispy bread. A beautiful and tasty addition to your table.
Add to a version of a BLT! Perhaps substitute grilled pancetta or crispy prosciutto, for the bacon. With your favorite bread, add the artichoke spread to your combination of “bacon”, lettuce and tomato.
Ingredients: Cream of Artichoke: artichokes, sunflower oil, wine vinegar, salt. Contains AntioxydL, ascorbic acid, citric acid.
Store in a cool dark place. Refrigerate after opening.
