Fattoria di Monti Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2012

SKU GQM-002
Fattoria di Monti Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a real discovery! Medio-fruttato, green tinged, fruity, with elements of fresh almond, followed by a taste of artichoke, and the spicy pizzicata of a nice Tuscan olive oil. Monti is a blend of 70% Razzo, with 10% each of Moriaolo, Leccino, and Pendolino olives, a perfect combination for those who don’t like meek olive oils.

From land that once was the home of a Medici family farm, and the 22 acres of olive groves date to that time. The Mediterranean breeze reaches the well-spaced olive trees through the gentle hills and open valleys, providing perfect conditions for splendid oil, with each olive varietal harvested at the optimum time. 1000 trees are grown on this land and pruned in the old way in the hills near Pisa. The olives are picked by hand and pressed within four hours using the Sinolea method.

We adore the tube packaging which nicely serves to protect and set this unique oil apart from others. They also include a nice brochure with each bottle.

Recommended with legumes, vegetables, and read meats. An outstanding olive oil, perfect for the Mediterranean diet.
