Gourmet Sardinia Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2008

SKU GS-003
Pale golden green in color, Cold Pressed is obtained from two native Sardinian varietals – Semidana and Bosana -- grown in a single olive orchard on the slopes of Mountalbo on Sardinia’s northeastern coast.

Sardinia’s unique olive varietals are pressed immediately without added heat to prevent fermentation, and ensure the true flavors of the olive. The olive oil first presents the crude olive taste with overtones of artichoke and finishes with a perfect balance of spice and bitterness. Acidity .25% - .30%

Gourmet Sardinia’s Cold Pressed enhances homemade vinaigrettes and mayonnaise with its crude olive flavor. The oil is also an excellent enhancement to Spaghetti Pomodoro or Risotto with Wild Mushrooms.

While all of Olio2go’s extra virgin olive oils are first cold pressed, Gourmet Sardinia has chosen this name to differentiate the oil from their Fruttato Intenso and Organic selections.
