The Grand Cru Selection is produced with the best varieties of the olive-grove -- Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino -- hand picked in very early harvest. Intensely herbaceous and fruity, with notes of green tomato and artichoke. Intensely hot and bitter. Best for raw use--as a finishing oil.

The Flos Olei Guide also set a 99/100 score for Fattoria Ramerino, and the amazing Primus is included in this gift box. Primus also received a Gold Award from NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition (2020).

Fattoria Ramerino Guadagnolo Primus Organic: The aroma is of fresh olives and green grass. Primus brings forth an intensely spicy and bitter combination. With the fruity green olive taste, you may note hints of grass and artichoke. The blend is unique in our collection: Moraiolo (60%), Frantoio (20%), Leccino (10%), and altri or other (10%).

Recommended pairings for these Tuscan favorites include bistecca, chickpea soup, other velvety vegetable soups, and roasted vegetables. Chianina beef carpaccio with porcini mushrooms, spinach salad, grilled radicchio, lentil soup, artichoke pasta dishes, oven-baked oily fish, red meat, grilled game, mature firm-textured cheeses.

The Flos Olei Guide also set a 100/100 score for Olio Quattrociocchi and we are pleased to include the Organic, single cultivar, Olivastro.

A light green oil with golden notes, exquisitely crafted from Itrana olives. It is intensely fruity with elements of fresh herbs enhanced by notes of cardoon and green tomato. Bitterness and spiciness are well balanced, yet the spicy characteristic is persistent.

Best on fresh green salads, pinzimonio, roasted and grilled vegetables, broiled and grilled fish, and pasta.
