Manicardi's consortium certified Extravecchio DOP aged in chestnut, cherry, mulberry, juniper, oak. At least 25-year aged in small wood barrels. Obtained from grape must cooked over direct heat in an open vat, typical of Modenese ageing; refined in small casks of precious woods.
We suggest it with a gentle drizzle or a few drops on Parmiggiano Reggiano DOP cheese flakes, high quality meat (especially beef and pork), strawberries, and ice cream or gelato.
