46° Parallelo Organic extra virgin olive oil comes to us from Agraria Riva del Garda, where the olives are cultivated in the well-ventilated basin on the Trentino shores of Lake Garda.

This is a blend of Frantoio, Casaliva, and Leccino olives harvested early, and are strictly handpicked, to ensure their quality.

This medium fruity oil is elegant and full bodied. It possesses rich vegetale notes accompanied by hints of artichokes, almonds, cardoon, and chicory. You'll note a pleasant bitterness and pungency in the finish.

Traditions: recommended with bean soups, grilled vegetables, pasta with sausage and mushrooms, grilled meats, and mature soft cheeses.

Agraria Riva del Garda is a farmers cooperative owned by 360 wine and extra virgin olive oil producers. Their olive oils are famous all over the world and have won several important prizes.

Riva del Garda is located in a special area, the Northeast olive-growing area in the world, close to the 46th North parallel. Its special climate, due to the Alps and Lake Garda, creates a Mediterranean island in the middle of the mountains. This also permits a perfect organic production. All olives are early handpicked and pressed on the same day by the Agraria Riva olive press. The olives are pressed at cold temperatures and only the best quality ones are admitted to be part of the products.
