Say "Ciao!" to this new selection from the area of Lake Garda. Riva del Garda Uliva is a new selection from Frantoio di Riva. Recognized by Slow Food.

Uliva is pressed from early harvest 100% Casaliva olives that are picked in the very first stages of maturation and pressed at the beginning of the season (generally before 10th November). The characteristics of the young olives are preserved in the resulting oil, which has a notable fresh, crisp taste as well as an accompanying grassy nose.

Recommendations: Salads with bitter greens (radicchio and arugula), Roasted and Grilled  Vegetables, Beef and beef stews, Aged Cheeses, and to finish soups and pizza.

Agraria Riva del Garda is a farmers cooperative owned by 360 wine and extra virgin olive oil producers. Their olive oils are famous all over the world.

Riva del Garda is located in a special area, the Northeast olive-growing area in the world, close to the 46th North parallel. Its special climate, due to the Alps and Lake Garda, creates a Mediterranean island in the middle of the mountains. Cold winters help the olives to get a natural healthier quality 'cause the parasites can’t survive it, so almost no pesticides are required. This also permits a perfect organic production. All olives are early handpicked and pressed on the same day by the Agraria Riva olive press. The olives are pressed at cold temperatures and only the best quality ones are admitted to be part of the products.
