
Villa Pontina is an award-winning organic Itrana Monovarietal from southern Lazio, approaching the sea. Villa Pontina is produced from organic farming at the foot of the Ausoni Mountains near the Pontine Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Flavor notes: Green pepper, tomato, grass, green tomatoes, and black pepper. This is the perfect condiment for "bazzoffia", the region's traditional soup, with spring vegetables, legumes, beaten eggs, and pecorino cheese. For about 3 years now, in addition to Organic certification, Villa Pontina has Biodynamic certification and are the only pure olive growers in Lazio to be biodynamic certified by Demeter.
