description

Expand your palate and experience the unique flavors of Tuscany with the 2022 Fonte di Foiano Zefiro Special Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This is a single cultivar featuring the Ravece olive grown at the Fonte di Foiano in the area of Castagneto Carducci. The label features the last painting created by founder Michele, who passed away in 2017. His sons Paolo and Simone have dedicated this special bottling to him.

This Zefiro Extra Virgin Olive Oil features a rich aroma with vegetal notes of green tomato, artichoke, chicory, and lettuce. The balsamic hints of mint and rosemary contribute to the unique taste, which has elements of tomato leaf, almond, and grass. This is a lightly bitter and mildly pungent extra virgin olive oil that pairs well with grilled meat such as Tagliata or Fiorentina, Tuscan soups, beans, raw artichokes, or simple bruschetta.
