Grassy, fresh, and fruity. "Biologica" Organic Extra Virgin Oil from Trapani area.

Antonella Titone’s pristine 2022 blend consists of Cerasuola with a small proportion of Biancolilla.

This year’s selection is medium fruity with hints of wild and aromatic herbs, borage, green apple and artichoke.  A symphony of delicious green flavors dances in your mouth—bitter and spicy are in balance. It has a beautiful aroma and it is full of flavor.

The pleasant bitterness of the oil is perfectly balanced by its persistent peppery finish, which will linger in your mouth and throat. Antonella and her father Nicola (who died during this fall’s harvest) tended to every detail with obsessive attention, and the result is pure perfection.

This ultra fragrant oil is outstanding on avocado: slice an avocado in half and fill the cavity with Titone, a sprinkle of freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a pinch of salt!

Also serve with: tomatoes (of course!), fresh cheeses, roasted meats, and especially with anchovies and fennel.
