description

Italian olive oil connoisseurs who seek the country's finest products will find three olive oils in the Da Vinci Crude Verde Gift Set. Part of the "Da Vinci Crude Tour", the Verde edition introduces three more artisan extra virgin olive oils from Veneto, the Adriatic Coast, and Southern regions.

San Felice comes to us from Frantoio Bonamini is in the Illasi Hills near Verona in the Veneto region. Giancarlo and Sabrina Bonamini bring energy and careful skill to their olive oil production.  It's a fresh extra virgin olive oil, with milder flavor notes, that combines well with every type of dish for everyday use. A very mild and versatile olive oil. This has a single note “hit” of pepper in the finish. Flos Olei (100/100) producer.

From Marche, Olio del Carmine is a blend of Leccino, Frantoio, Pendolino, and Carboncella olives. Medium fruity and green with aromas of fresh grass, almond, and the leaf of tomato. The flavor is persistent with both sweet and spicy characteristics.

Versatile, medium fruity. Excellent on first courses, including salmon appetizers, bruschette with vegetables, farro salads, pasta with tomato sauce, baked and roast poultry and lamb, and flavorful salads.

DeCarlo Arcamone olive oil from Puglia (Apulia) is certified organic and Terra di Bari D.O.P. with a medium-intense flavor and complex aroma. For a balanced oil meant to be eaten, try DeCarlo Arcamone olive oil pressed in Puglia. And those who want versatile oil with a grassy finish will appreciate Olio del Carmine from Azienda del Carmine, near Ancona in Marche. Flos Olei (100/100) producer.

By sampling the differences between each region, your appreciation for Italian extra virgin olive oil will increase threefold. See our suggestions for ways to use these Da Vinci Crude olive oils for cooking and finishing or let the recipient come up with their own concoctions. A 250ml bottle of each is included in rustic gift packaging.
