This is a late addition to our site. We’d been waiting for the perfect Agrodolce mixed vegetables for our store.
Giariniera in agrodolce is a traditional Italian mix of crisp vegetables preserved in a sweet-and-sour (agrodolce) vinegar brine, combining the acidity of wine vinegar with a touch of sweetness from sugar.
A colorful medley of crunchy produce such as carrots, bell peppers, cauliflower florets, celery, fennel, or small pearl onion.
The Agrodolce Brine is a balanced liquid mixture of white wine vinegar, water, sugar, and coarse salt—heated together to dissolve and then poured hot over the prepared vegetables.
Usually served chilled as part of an Italian antipasto spread alongside cured meats and cheeses, or used as a tangy condiment.
Ingredients: Mixed vegetables in variable proportion (58%)(cauliflower, celery, onion, carrots, fennel, pepper), wine vinegar (sulphites), water, salt, sugar.
