From the premium line at Olio Mimì, we present the Peranzana monocultivar selection. This EVOO is noted as “green fruity” and rich in vegetable scents with hints of green apple and tomato leaves. Bitter and spicy characteristics are light.

The olive oil selections at Olio Mimì Peranzana were born from the passion of Donato and Michele and their mother Giuditta, who have fulfilled the dream of their father Domenico, also known as Mimì. Their olive grove spreads over 80 hectares, where they cultivate with dedication 24,000 olive trees that yield about 500 hectolitres of oil every year.

Mimì Peranzana extra virgin olive oil is a fruity oil of medium intensity with many vegetable and herbaceous scents on the nose, and a distinct note of tomato and green apple. On the palate, the freshness of the apple and green tomato reappears and shows a spicy and bitter character while maintaining an elegant harmony between the two components.

This is an ideal selection for combining with crude dishes as a condiment for salads or vegetables, but also for seasoning grilled meats and fish or soups.
