The Special Edition, Nocellara Salvatore Cutrera, is the Nocellara del Belice monocultivar selection from the noted olive oil producer, Frantoi Cutrera.
As single-varietal, clear notes of tomato leaf and green tomato are present and pronounced. The initial impression is followed with notable grassiness and persistent spicy notes.
Pairs well with seafood and fish, especially swordfish sprinkled with Frantoi Cutrera’s Sicilian Oregano. This is an ideal extra virgin olive oil to blend into an aioli or homemade mayonnaise — especially on fried calamari.
