Scovaventi Garbino Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Marvelous is the perfect word to describe Carolina Rossi and her products from Scovaventi. Located near the Saturnia spa in the area of Grosseto.

Carolina is carrying on the legacy she established with husband Luca de Filippo. They began the farm as a refuge from their frenetic life. At the time their lives revolved around the theater and touring.

Throughout it all, extra virgin olive oil was their true passion and in 2015, they expanded by purchasing nearby groves to expand their venture. The wind that blows comes from the sea. It’s dear because it pollinates the olive trees and carries aromas and scents of the region. This wind brings life and peace.

Garbino is also an organic selection, from the cultivars Leccino, Caninese, and Ascolana Tenera.

The olives are harvested at the perfect early stage and are processed in the modern continuous cycle mill, to maintain the organoleptic and nutritional values.

This selection is nicely balanced and harmonious, and it simply dances with creamy vegetable soups, fish recipes, and also homemade mayonnaise. Carolina recommends it as ideal for drizzling over ice cream or gelato.
